I just changed my master password after a while, and everything seems okay! I was able to login again to the web vault, and able to re-login at my Bitwareden mobile app. (With the new master password + 2FA).
However, I had issues with my both Bitwarden desktop clients (Windows and MacOS):
- Typing my new master password after opening the app says it was wrong. Ok, probably there is still leftovers of the old password (old password did not worked either), so I closed my session.
- Then trying to login again, login seems lasting forever both for Windows and MacOS! Around 5 minutes happens until I got the error “Incorrect username or password”.
- In both devices (Windows and MacOS) I can use web-based vault without issues, so I guess something’s wrong at app. Tried to uninstall and reinstall again, same results.
So, for any for the both desktop versions, there is any clues what’s going on? There is a way to see logs, if there is a more internal based error? Or there is another sort of issue here? I would discard password mistyping as I can login without issues at web vault and in my phone. Also, there should be some leftovers when uninstall the clients? Should I clean those to make it work?
