@Fire_Marshal_Bill The advice I had given to the OP was meant to address the specific issue they had reported for the login form at accounts.firefox.com — it was not intended as some general panacea for every auto-fill issue on every website.
I have just confirmed that the solution I had proposed for the OP’s problem does still work on the accounts.firefox.com site (using the 2023.12.1 version of the Chrome extension).
However, since you have not posted in this thread, I don’t know what site you are having issues with. Last time we heard from you (over 6 months ago), the only issue mentioned was not being able to auto-fill your Google login using Android. Now you’re evidently struggling with the browser extension.
If the site you are having problems with is accounts.firefox.com, then there is something unusual (or just plain incorrect) about your configuration, since the custom linked field method does actually work there. If it is some other webpage, then I can’t help unless you provide some more information.
But feel free to go back to Lastpass.
