Hello Bitwarden Team,
I wanted to share a feature suggestion and some quick feedback.
Feature suggestion:
When adding a new login, users currently need to manually enter the full website URL. It would be extremely helpful if, instead, a user could simply type the company or service name (e.g., Google, Twitter, Amazon), and Bitwarden would automatically detect and populate the correct website URL. This would significantly improve speed and usability, especially for common and well-known services.
If possible, making this available on the free plan would be a great value addition and would further differentiate Bitwarden.
Additional suggestion:
It would be great to have a clearly visible “Send Feedback” option directly within the Bitwarden app or browser extension, so users can easily submit suggestions or feedback without needing to search externally.
Overall, I really like Bitwarden and currently prefer it over alternatives like NordPass. Please do respond to this email so I know the suggestion was received.
