Troubling login to browser extension with manifest v3

Hello, I’m new here, studying stuffs about Bitwarden.
and I’m new to OS form like here, so please understand me.

I’m planning to publish the private applications based on BW. Having trouble logging in to browser extension with manifest V3.
for manifest V2 and Desktop app, there is no problem with login.
However with mv3 extension, the error says “Account does not exist” when I try to login.
Tried to connect to BW official server and self-hosted one, but none of them work.

Ive browsed that there was preparing for manifest v3 at least a year ago. Is it still working on applying mv3? or am I missing something?(the project Ive cloned is main branch)

My understanding is that the transition to Mv3 us still a work in progress.

I’ve figured out that publishing a new project with manifest v2 on Chrome store is not acceptable anymore since 2024.
Is there any page that I could follow the progress up?

Hi @jhl9617, the best way to know once we make the formal transition is to sign up for our Release Announcements, but rest assured we are hard at work transitioning to v3.
