TOTP verification code incorrect in desktop/browser app but on mobile its correct

Hi,

in some cases for some TOTP Codes on PC App/Firefox Addon is wrong. If i use the Bitwarden Android app the Code is correct.

The problem doesn’t occur every day, so I thought it was due to the homepage where I want to log in and that they were experiencing a malfunction. But today I found out by chance that it works with the mobile app, so the problem must lie with the Bitwarden PC client.

PC Bitwarden Version: 2025.9.0
Firefox Bitwarden Addon Version: 2025.8.2
Android Bitwarden Version: 2025.9.0

This is almost always because the clock on your device is wrong. Compare what it says against https://time.is/ and that you have the correct timezone set.

thx this was solution, i synced the time and now it works
