TOTP code shown in tooltip (for the TOTP copy button)

There are a number of websites that have TOTP codes, but instead of being able to paste them into the window, you must manually type them. To speed this up, I think it would be a good idea to show the TOTP code as a tooltip when hovering over the TOTP copy button. This saves having to hit the three dots, and then select view. The TOTP code would need to update each time the mouse is hovered over the TOTP icon.

This is a very badly constructed picture of what I am thinking.

Hey @gooseleggs, starting in 2025.1.0 you can access TOTP from the inline autofill menu. Let me know if this resolves your issue. The TOTP also gets copied to the clipboard for pasting in a form field.

Thank you for the option, but not what I mean. I am starting to see a number of websites where instead of text input for the TOTP code, they have separate boxes to enter each number. Unfortunately, you cannot copy/paste in the code. You need to manually type in the code (very annoying). An example of this type of field is

@gooseleggs typically you can paste even though they appear as separate boxes, can you confirm if this is not the case on this specific website?

Autofill also works in some cases (feedly.com, for example). Since a recent browser extension update.

I am running 2025.2.1. I gather they have some javascript that moves the cursor along when a value typed on the keyboard. Pasting anything in only shows the first character of the clipboard. There is no autofill option that pops up. It is a fully manual entry.
