"Syncing Fault" message

Sync is successful on two iPhone devices.

Desktop: Manual Sync (File>Sync Vault): “Syncing Failed”
Logging out and back into Bitwarden: Fault persists

Browser: MS Edge with Bitwarden extension (Settings>Sync): “Syncing Failed”
Logged out and back into MS Edge: Fault persists.

Browser: Google Chrome with Bitwarden extension (Settings>Sync): “Syncing Failed”
Logged out and back into Google Chrome: Fault persists.

Additional troubleshooting:
Fault persists (Syncing Failed) with Desktop, Chrome, and Edge browsers on my primary Wi-Fi and also when connected to iPhone Hotspot for Wi-Fi connection.

All Syncing was working just fine up until recently

Are you 100% sure that you are logging out (not locking) and logging back in (not unlocking)? Usually, this problem is solved by logging out and logging back in.

In a few cases, users have reported having to take one of the following additional steps between the logout step and the login step, so you you could try one or both of the following after logging out of your client apps/extensions:

  • Reboot your device. In Windows, it may be worthwhile to reboot using both “Shut Down” and “Restart”, since they affect the OS differently.

  • Switch the server selection from bitwarden.com to bitwarden.eu (or vice versa) and then back. In some cases, it may help to perform a (doomed to fail) login attempt on the “wrong” server before switching back.

If the above doesn’t work, try reinstalling your Bitwarden apps/extensions.

Logging out and back into the BW Desktop app as well as the two browser extensions solved the issue without taking the suggested following steps.
