It would be nice if the password generator settings were synced across devices.

Just wanted to request the same thing. They might be just hidden part (or maybe not even hidden) of the vault.

I would appriciate this feature. Now I have to manually set my password generator setting over and over again (for every device and plugin, and it seems to forget my preference too)
Agreed, itβs a minor annoyance to have to tweak the generator settings to my exact needs on every client. Also, I cannot see how anyone would explicitly prefer to not sync those settings.

Iβm out of votes, but would like to add my +1 to this idea. Would be a handy little QoL improvement.
Summary: currently Bitwarden password generator does not sync the selected settings across devices / extensions. I donβt know the default settings that the generator comes with but as an example, say I enable special characters and set the length to 17 characters. Currently, I would have to go to each of my other browser extensions / computers / phone app and update settings if I want consistent password generation across all installs.
How it should work: if I make changes to the password generator options anywhere, it should push those changes to all other installs I have for my account, regardless if itβs the iOS app, extension or desktop app.
(I cede the point that once I have configured it across two browsers on my two computers and my iPhone, it is now setup the way I want and will likely not change it in the future from the settings, unless I am making a one-off password).

This along with Sync Bitwarden settings, like βLock after X minutesβ or PIN - Feature Requests / Password Manager - Bitwarden Community Forums would be great.
Multiple browser profiles * multiple browsers * multiple machines = Settings hell. Not to mention divergent threat profile for each.
After 7+ years settings/non password sync seems to be unlikely, but please. Pretty please?
β¦ wouldnβt divergent threat profiles indicate, the settings should be different, which would βspeak againstβ synced settings? 
Would be great to have a flag that let the user chose wich device have to sync this settings and wich not

- Save Username Generator API tokens as a setting of account
Feature function
- Currently you need to generate API tokens and paste them into every instance of Bitwarden including browser extenstions, itβs not user friendly at all.
- Itβs more optimal to save and bind tokens at Bitwarden server side and request usernames via Bitwarden API using saved userβs token.
- In future you could use OAuth2 to obtain token even more user friendly: User click in Bitwarden settings βAuth with Fastmailβ and grants Bitwarden a permission to generate tokens.

Also Fastmail API allows you to generate email specifically for exact domain. It brings many small, but useful features. I wrote own Telegram bot to generate Fastmail masked emails, now it looks like this in the Fastmail interface:
- It has nice site prefix
- Itβs showed by which app this masked email was created
Itβs also showed as single dedicated official integration with Fastmail:
Hope Bitwarden devs will improve their integration.
agree this would be a time saver. granted, there canβt be that many users who are generating usernames with these external services. but for those who do, itβs a great idea to set it once instead of having to do it on each computer, each browser and sometimes each profile that browser.
Also, i could see a use case where most of my browsers should have use name generator 1 but then on one device i want to use generator 2. there should be a way to set it on that device and not have it get overwritten. another idea is that you could save both/all of your API keys and each device will pick the option. And you can always pick a different key on any given device you have.
I personally kind of solved a problem for me and made a Telegram bot to generate Fastmail Masked Emails from URLs:

I have accounts for multiple services, and it would be helpful to not have to find the API keys every time I need access to an alias.
+1 Iβm a new user (in my 30 day trial) and this API key issue was really frustrating. Is there any progress on resolving?
