It’s great that we can now export vault attachments, however, it would be even better if we could also fully import a previously exported vault with all its individual attachment files to facilitate restoring a previous vault state. Thanks!

@overexertyearly … if it’s okay for you, for now I would like to add something like “ZIP import” to the title.
Note: I now changed the title from “Allow importing a vault with all its attachment files” to “Support import of ZIP vault exports (JSON + file attachments)”.
I signed up for this forum exclusively to +1 this request. I’m in a situation where I need to export and import everything as a part of a migration from .eu to .com, so doing everything all in one fell swoop would be quite ideal.
Same. I just created an account and have no vote. I cant move without my attatchments. I am not able to use my own instance, if I cant migrate everything at once!!!

I recomend you download the zip file with attachments even if you will not be able to import again but you will be able to open de zip and see all your attachments organized in folders 
Of course we the import with attachments is a must to be fix.
I would like to add that there once was an initial and corresponding PR, which was closed about a year ago:
Maybe it will be reopened or continued otherwise someday…
