Struggling with onboarding and doubting family plan!

I have just signed up with the aim of moving the family to bitwarden…have to say struggling with the onboarding Ans seriously doubting that this will work, especially for other family members…

Issues include:
Flakey fillings on android chrome - password suggestions not coming up (i.e. BBC website pops up username but not on password screen, popoups not appearing on pages at random, doesn’t seem to save new passwords or offer to create a password? Some of this appears to be a possible android bug…but not sure if all?

My worry is that if this is repeated on family iOS devices I will lose buyin I’m immediately!

Any views from the community, is bitwarden unsuitable for non techy family people?

1 year ago, I would have recommended BW, but now I cannot at all, specially with family involved.

I don’t have personal experience on this one (no Apple devices), but I think I consistently read (especially on the Bitwarden Subreddit), that the iOS autofill experience is better than on Android. – And as you already alluded to, on Android it seems to be caused to some degree by Android itself (and no password manager on Android works “perfect”).

I too have been having many auto fill issues on Android of late but I’ve noticed in most of the problematic instances that auto fill via the quick settings auto fill button (which requires the older accessibility service) it works ok. So maybe use that as a workaround until the problem is fixed.
