I use a Yubikey as 2FA on my Vault. This works perfectly on Firefox extension, Windows Desktop app and Android App. However, in the Web Vault, Windows suddenly decides that ‘This security key does not look familiar’ when I insert it. The backup key, however, works. Does anyone know what the reason for this could be?
It’s possible the browser is finding your PC’s TPM before the YubiKey. Is there a “use another security key” button to click? If not, what happens if you just wait?
Turns out it’s just Windows f-in things up.
Workaround: Click cancel, choose different authentification method, OTP Key
