Shrink the enormous box offering to fill 'logins'

I am trying to read a browser page, that has an offer in middle of page to provide my email address to get on some email list, and bitwarden pops up a huge box demanding that I login to bitwarden. (i’m not interested in filling in the email address box) Which then also hides some of the article. Really dumb. After I login to bitwarden the box disappears, but will appear if right clicking on the email box, as it should. Can you shrink the fill option to size of the bitwarden icon, that can expand if I hover on it. (Like roboform does with fillable fields.). or simply only offer bitwarden login if I right click on the fillable field. Otherwise stay out of the way. This current operation is really annoying.

I somewhat agree
Which OS do you use? Windows/Linux, or macOS?

In case of macOS and Safari, you can create your own stylesheet (css) and just map values.

i am using windows. iac, i wouldn’t be interested to taking time to create a css when bitwarden developers could fix the problem faster and for everyone.
curiously, i notice that when the login for this forum appeared, there was no unlock box appearing until i right clicked on the login. This is how it should work everywhere.

Agreed  Good thing on shared machines; not so much of use on you-only computer imho

What version of the browser extension do you have installed, and what browser are you using? Additionally, what setting have you selected for the option “Show autofill menu on form fields” (under Settings > Autofill)? If it is set to “When field is selected (on focus)”, then try the other two options.

browser extension ver 1124.11.0 , vivaldi browser.
i have changed the autofill setting to ‘when auto fill icon is selected’

however: bitwarden updated itself yesterday. I check a few sites just now, before changing settings, and didn’t see an offer to fill at sites I checked. I’ll see what happens from now on.
