[Windows-App] It would be nice to be able to see how many logins/cards/identities or notices you have. A simple counter (like 1Password).

One of the most basic features of any manager, be it a password manager or otherwise, is the ability to see a total count of items, and to display those items in a list sorted by any one of a variety of fields. I’m really surprised that the Bitwarden Client still doesn’t support this feature in any way and it’s not even on the development roadmap?

Surely this is really low-hanging fruit - you display a list of items, it’s a simple database with fields; providing an item count display and an option to sort the list by a given field would require next to no effort to implement? It’s just a very minor GUI update, and the feature request is one of the most voted for, with people saying it’s the one thing that puts them off Bitwarden versus your competitors.

I just opened a GitHub issue Web UI doesn't show item count in filters · Issue #7065 · bitwarden/clients · GitHub for this because everything but the Web UI seems to offer item counts. It was closed as a “feature request” and not a bug, hilariously enough. How is it not a bug when all but one experience supports the count feature? Also the fact that this is still open HALF A DECADE later is upsetting.
