Self-hosted email verification fails

I set up a self-hosted instance of Bitwarden and so far everything is working except email verification. When I click “Send verification email” in the big orange banner at the top, nothing is sent.

Is this verification email even necessary, or is the banner just an artifact from the Bitwarden-hosted version?

You have to setup an SMTP-server or enter your ISP smarthost-address in the global configuration with authorization credentials if needed, as the Bitwarden installation does not include it’s own SMTP-services.

Ok got it. Where can I access the global configuration? Can’t seem to find it.

And, I’ve found the settings. Can’t get emails to work though :frowning:
