Hello Bitwarden community,
I have a self hosted instance that I’ve self hosted and I’ve ran into this issue recently. I’m not sure if is related to a browser or something.
But I’m using Brave Browser, version: 1.87.188 and running Bitwarden browser extension, version: 2026.1.1.
I have the setting set to timeout when the browser restarted, but every time when I enter the correct master password, it was saying that Incorrect master password has been entered. I’ve tried it on my self-hosted UI and it works that way. Also, it works on other browsers such as Google Chrome and Firefox.
Here are my Bitwarden versions:
Version: 2025.12.1
SDK: ‘main (93a331f)’
Server version (self-hosted): 2025.7.2
