I have set a self host up in Azure Ubuntu instance… all works well apart from email. I know AZ blocks SMTP email but need to find a solution, Sendgrid does not seem to work as thats SMTP as well and bitwarden does not seem to support the Sendgrid API. Can anyone help with a solution.

I’ve managed to use sendgrid as SMTP relay with the free-of-charge options. I had however to get my account validated by Sendgrid by supplying some more information about my usage of the service etc…
In addition I’m not using Sendgrid as a service out of Azure, I’ve created an account myself directly on their website.
For now, I haven’t seen any problems with my, minimalistic, usage of mails within Bitwarden and SMTP.
What kind of restrictions/troubles have you faced?
