Search within Secure Notes on iOS App Not Returning Results

Hi all,

I’m having trouble searching within Secure Notes on the iOS app. For example, I have a secure note with the following text:
Royal blue 1, 2, 3
Smith garage right 1234, left 5678

When I search for the word “garage” (without quotes) from the iOS app, I get no results. However, when I perform the same search using the Chrome extension, the title of the secure note appears in the results.

Is there a way to make the iOS app return search results based on the content of the secure notes, similar to how the Chrome extension works?

I’ve seen this discussed before in the community, however, the conversation was from 2-4 years ago. I’m hoping this has been addressed and maybe I’m just missing it.

Mobile apps use “Basic Search”, which only searches within item names, usernames, URIs, card brand names, or card numbers (last 4 digits). Mobile apps do not search notes or custom fields.

If you want to search within a notes field, you must use a non-mobile app.
