Can I please get an explanation for what purpose/scenario I might require the use of screen capture in relation to the functioning of Bitwarden?

Hey @bituser do you mean for the Allow screen capture option in the mobile app?

Typically this might be beneficial if needing to grab a screenshot or screen recording to provide an example to someone for tips, or troubleshooting in my experience.

I think those are two distinct things. – You can still scan QR codes with the mobile app (–> camera permission!), even when “Allow screen capture” is turned off:

… in that screenshot, it obviously is turned on, otherwise I couldn’t have captured that screen…

Actually I was thinking about a third thing: An Android permission required by an app to take screenshots at all. But a quick search shows that such a permission does not exist at all which I find a bit troublesome.

Anyway, thanks for the correction.
