Safari: Logins fail with extension enabled

I am able to use BitWarden to fill in login information at simplenote.com but the “login” button does not work. Disabling the BitWarden resolves this issue.

Hi @brijazz - welcome! And thanks for the post about the issue you have encountered.

This isn’t actually an issue with the Bitwarden extension blocking login - if I copy and paste my credentials from the BW extension manually, the login works just fine. Rather, it appears that the there is a hidden recaptcha blocking autofill, perhaps as a measure to prevent bots from bruteforcing logins.

I am not sure what the best course of action is here - any password manager with autofill may have the same issue, unfortunately, given that it is server-side behaviour. Regardless, you may want to add your two misbehaving sites, and any others you encounter, to the Github tracking list here:

Also, since you have two posts for the same issue (but on different sites) I will simply merge these together. Cheers!

I am able to use BitWarden to fill in login information at text-em-all.com but attempting to login thereafter produces an error (" Unexpected network error occurred. If problem persists, [contact our support team]"). Their support team advises that the BitWarden extension is the cause of this issue, and it seems they’re correct as disabling the BitWarden resolves this issue.
