Register iOS as security key and passkey login

Hi all,

I have a question which I cannot find any information on the internet, understand that recently we have requested to have passkey integrated into BW, however, when I register a security key (yubikey for instance) iOS asked if I wish to registered iOS device as a security key, so my question is:

  1. What are the different between registering iOS as a security key for 2fa and passkey like google recently released passkey login

  2. Is register iOS as a 2fa login safe (since i have a yubikey), i just add iOS as a backup just incase that ive lost the keys
