TLDR

  1. Will deleting account delete the organisation I made(admin) to share passwords with my wife?
  2. If #1 is correct then will my wife lose passwords created by her in the organisation?

Hey folks I moved companies recently and turns out my auth code for my personal account was linked to my office ID account on Google Authenticator (ouch!). I did write down the recovery key on a piece of paper(to the point I spelled out 0 as zero, etc) that I store securely but as my lucks turns out today the code is not working. I am trying to understand the ‘blast radius’ from to me deleting my bitwarden account

Reach out to Bitwarden customer support. They may be able to elevate your wife’s privileges within the organization, such that the organization is not deleted and only your personal account and items in your individual vault are affected by account deletion.
