Prompt for Master Password when using auto-fill keyboard shortcut if logged out
Feature function
What will this feature do differently?
If you are logged out of Bitwarden and use the keyboard shortcut to auto-fill a username and password, currently nothing happens. Ideally, it would open the Chrome extension and allow you to fill out the Master Password by putting that field into focus. Then it fills out the website username / password as normal.
What benefits will this feature bring?
Removes friction from using the product when you are logged out.
Remember to add a tag for each client application that will be affected

Thank you - I’m aware of that shortcut but would still argue the average user shouldn’t need to learn another one in this one case. The most common one is to auto-fill, so if logged out, prompt the user to enter their pass word.
Strongly voting for this as well! Whilst I’m not “afraid” of learning another shortcut, I’d argue that the pwd manager should make my life easier which it doesn’t if I have to press 2 shortcuts where one could do the same thing.
Also, in reality it’s not just 1 shortcut more, as typical scenario looks like this (at least for me):
Enter website
Press Ctrl+Shift+L
Wonder why nothing happens, realize that the extension is locked
Press Ctrl+Shift+Y & enter pwd
Press Ctrl+Shift+L
Meaning: It’s actually 2 shortcuts more (1 failed Ctrl+Shift+L + 1 Ctrl+Shift+Y) which can get quite frustrating over time…
To be honest, coming from KeePass, I’m a little surprised that this isn’t already the default ATM…
