Hello,
I tried following the video walkthrough here: How to self-host Bitwarden Password Manager on a Raspberry Pi | Bitwarden on setting up the self hosted server on a raspberry pi and I reviewed the documentation here: Install and Deploy - Unified (Beta) | Bitwarden Help Center . After initially following these steps I was able to reach my Bitwarden server on my domain using http. I then setup a reverse proxy to handle https. I then tried to configure the smtp server settings in the settings.env file. When I go to register an account and click the “create account” button, a little red window popups with a 502 Bad Gateway error message. I’d appreciate any troubleshooting tips on how to resolve this. Thanks.
Hi @jelectric, welcome to community!
There have been a few threads with similar issues, but it looks like most were solved using the steps outlined here: Updated BW/Docker, get 502 Bad Gateway · Issue #726 · bitwarden/server · GitHub
I hope that helps, but feel free to look around at some of the other threads or post additional details if that doesn’t work for you!
