I am using macOS Beta 15.1 and safari Version 18.0 (20619.1.26.11.3) and passkeys does not work properly. Works fine in the latest version of Chrome but not safari. I cannot use passkeys with PayPal or Amazon.com. When I try to use the passkey it just goes to the password login or never even prompts for a passkey. When I use passkey with google sometimes it will work for the first account but when I add additional google accounts it will fail. Does anyone else have this issue? Is Bitwarden support aware of this? I tried using the regular browser and the private browser and it fails in both. Please help, chrome is great and all but I prefer safari.

I’m on MacOS 14.6.1 with standard Safari and am seeing the same issue for the majority of passkey enabled websites.
It just doesn’t work.
Bitwarden fails to intercept the passkey handling and instead you’re being prompted with the default MacOS TouchId popup which would setup the passkey in the keychain.
So frustrating.
