Passkeys-index how to contribute new websites etc

Hi, I want to contribute additional websites that I’ve found the the passkeys-index and ultimately passkeys.io. However, it’s just too hard!!

According to passkeys.io I have to go to Github, and according to the Passwordless-index GitHub, I have to do a PR, which is a pull request, but to do that I get the idea from the Bitwarden development guidelines that I have to install software, do a fork, branch, commit, what else? The Bitwarden guidelines also say that development occurs on a Mac, so do I need one of those too?

All I want to do is contribute a couple of sites that support passkeys. Is there an easy way to do this?

One other thing. I don’t know whether passwordless.dev is the right place to ask this question, but I can’t find a better place, so any suggestions would be welcome.

The passkey.io website is not affiliated with Bitwarden. However, if you want to notify the admins of the passkey.io site about additional websites that support passkeys, you can simply use the web form at this link to submit the URLs of the websites you would like to add:

 

When it comes to the Bitwarden open-source initiative passkeyindex.io, they do use GitHub to update the list. If you do not feel comfortable doing a PR, you could try posting your suggested websites as an “Issue” instead.
