While I really enjoy BitWarden’s ease of use and the apps that are available in many different platforms, one of the things that makes me uneasy is the fact that ultimately it is a cloud/online service which could shut down unexpectedly at any time.
I’d love for there to be a feature to auto export a secure (encrypted and password protected) local copy of the vault every time there is a change to it. That way the user is always in control of their vault regardless of the service’s status or the user’s own access to the internet.
It doesn’t need to be a full-fledged offline client feature, just a feature functions as a ‘set it and forget it’ secure offline back up of your vault for worst-case scenarios. Perhaps make it a Premium only feature as an additional incentive to get Premium as well as to provide those with Premium more control over how they’d like to protect themselves.
