Not receiving the verification email - trying to resend throw a 401

I can’t access my account on my new phone. Is there a way to disable this “feature” on my account?

@return_null Welcome to the forum!

The best way to disable the verification requirement for new device logins is to enable Two-Step Login for your Bitwarden account. A much less secure option is to go to Settings > My Account (in the Web Vault), scroll down to the red “Danger Zone” box, and click the option to turn off “new device login protection”.

Both of these solutions require you to log in to your Bitwarden account on the Web Vault. And to log in to the Web Vault from a browser where you have not previously accessed your Web Vault, you will need to enter an email verification code. To break the Catch-22, you would need to get in touch with Customer Support.

Finally, I would highly recommend that you spend some time to troubleshoot why you are not receiving emails from Bitwarden — this can cause you to miss important security information (such as notices of attempted or successful account take-over).

Thank you! I disabled the new device login protection to allow the connection and reenabled it afterward. I’m going to look into enabling other options when I have a bit more time. Thanks a lot!
