No autofill overlay in Android Chrome

Hi,

I am new to bitwarden and wanted to give it a shot. So far, it has been a frustrating experience.

I do not get any auto fill popup on Android in Chrome (Samsung device) even though the feature is turned on in the app and enabled in the Android settings (where you have to confirm you trust the app). I added an item in the fault with the exact URI. Yet all I get is the Chrome overlay popup offering me to fill in the credentials. Yet no bitwarden popup. The help section is not helpful at all unfortunately. It shows github in the picture and the overlay. Yet exactly that I do not get.

Found it after spending (too) much time on it:
the overlay popup will not show if also inline autofill is enabled (should have properly read the text in the app than on the website).

The help section on the website gives the impression you can use both and technically suggests to enable both. Only the help website for mobiles suggest to use the autofill feature (without enabling inline autofill as well).
