No Autofill option on iPad for local URL in Chrome / Safari

Bitwarden autofill works fine in iPad Chrome for any other URL, but its stopped working for the local URL / IP for my unraid server.

I have several website URL’s configured for this login, tried changing to different match detection (from Default - Base domain > Host) but no help. Same if using the IP address rather than URL.

http://ms.local/login

Every time it shows the chrome browser login icon not the bitwarden one. But for all other URL’s I use for external URL’s (eg BBC) all works fine - shows bitwarden login prompt.

Any suggestions welcomed as pulling my hair out on this one :slight_smile:

@johnyb Welcome to the forum!

Could you clarify if you are using the BW browser extension or the BW mobile app on your iPad?

Perhaps you have the site stored in your google password manager… chrome://password-manager/passwords

The BW mobile app (didn’t think you could use browser extensions on Chrome iPad - just a PC)

I dont, no sites stored in the chrome google password manager. :slight_smile:

@johnyb On Android this is possible… not exactly sure about iOS, to be honest. But I also asked, because you chose the tag app:browser, which indicates “browser extension” (and not “mobile app”). I’m going to change that tag now.

My mistake sorry I didnt realise. Thanks for correcting it.

Any solution for this?

I am having the same problem on my IPad. I self host multiple local apps. The are all set up in BW http://192.168.x.x:port and they used to all work in Firefox or Chrome on my Ipad. I too tried all the different match detections options but nothing has resolved this. All external web addresses work fine with BW ipad moble app.

All local IP address work fine with BW on my desktop PC and also on my Android phone.

Hm. @johnyb @dgmorley64 I think this could be a current bug – if you agree that it is the same issue, then add your details there:

Looks like it is. Details added, thanks
