New user set up

I am just setting up BitWarden. I have about 100 online accounts all with weak/the same/similar passwords. Would you guys suggest I go into all of these accounts first and change the passwords to better ones generated on BitWarden, then save the news ones to BitWarden?

Or shall I just import all the current passwords from Good Chrome password saver then change them via BitWarden (I’m not sure you can change passwords via external apps?)

Thanks

@JamieEssex Hi!

Either way is possible.

But “changing the passwords via Bitwarden”, I guess you mean via creating new passwords with Bitwarden’s password generator? Because Bitwarden can’t change the passwords in your accounts/services by itself… you have to log in to every account/service, change the password and store the new one in Bitwarden (if you use the password generator in that moment, the password might then get stored “automatically” if you are in the corresponding vault item in Bitwarden).

So again, either way is possible - and either or: you have to change every password “manually”, after all…

BTW, congratulations to this decision!
