All of a sudden in Firefox I am unable to autofill many sites that use to work fine. I can not see any changes but sites like https://accounts.firefox.com just keeps throwing up error message.
This is also happening on my work sites like sharepoint logins. It is failing to work in a lot of sites recently and can’t figure out what is causing it.
Having a similar issue. One site it wouldn’t fill at all, another it would just fill the username and I have to click on the password box and through there to fill it completely.
Hey @molitar, I suggest that you redact the personal information from your screenshot. It does not only contain e-mail addresses but also information about credit cards. The last four numbers of those are often used in verification processes.
Thanks @marlin for the heads up. I redacted @molitar’s picture on his behalf.
@molitar, are you having this issue on all sites or just some? I am able to reproduce with Firefox 144.0 on accounts.firefox.com, but logins to the community work just fine. Not that it helps much, but accounts.firefox.com works properly for me on chrome 141.
I am also a Firefox user. Bitwarden autofill on accounts.firefox.com hasn’t worked for me for a long time. Drag & drop doesn’t work either. I’ve always attributed this to Mozilla’s attempt to restrict potentially malicious extensions, unfortunately including password managers. I can’t configure KeePassXC (which has a “Run on sites with restrictions” override setting that Bitwarden doesn’t) to work with it either.
Several sites. Work sites created with sharepoint or ServiceNow. Some others I have also reached in the past. It is like someone stated like it’s not able to detect fields.
Method of the keys did not work for me at all on Firefox so I filled in the report auto-fill failure that link should be in the extension for support so we can find it easily.
