I see that the native iOS app in now in General Availability (GA). Will the native Android app be in GA soon?

On the latest vault hours they mentioned that the Android app was lagging quite a bit and that their magic 8 ball is predicting Q4 (that is by end-of-year).

Yeah, Android is lagging behind but they said in the vault hours something like “probably 3-4 weeks after the iOS release”. I’m very certain of that.

I also note:

  1. 2024.8.* non-native Androids are not being released
  2. Bugs filed for the non-native Androids are often marked something like, “please download the beta Android and check if there’s the same problem on that one.”
  3. By the feel of it, they are no longer putting any effort into the non-native Android app.
