While I understand that other community members requested that the organization only restriction, this works directly counter to our organizational business needs. Please change this into an option. Preferrably one which is set by the organization, and is off by default, rather than the MSP, such that the organization can choose whether they want their MSP to be able to manage passwords. I think this is the best way to ensure that everyone gets what they want. As it stands now, one group will always be happy, while the other will always be unhappy. A binary switch set by the developers is not the way forwards.
I’d like to highlight that the currently prescribed approach for those of us who need this access is flawed.
Sharing a single user account to manage our customers partners is incredibly insecure, and flies directly in the face of what we’re attempting to achieve with our use case. Our usage of bitwarden was primarily as a way to securely share passwords between ourselves and our customers, and so that those customers could securely share passwords between themselves.
