Missing the required MasterPasswordUnlock data property error


Good morning everyone. I wanted to ask for your help because my partner encountered this error on her phone, as mentioned in the subject of this post.

I saw that this topic was discussed on the forum, but the conclusion was that the problem was with the server version.

In her case, it’s the app installed from the Play Store, which relies on cloud servers. So, I wouldn’t expect this behavior.

The deciding factor is if a BW cloud account, Bitwarden self-hosting or third-party server is used for her account (on what kind of server software her account “exists”).

Given it is a BW cloud server, then she should log out and log in again. If that doesn’t work: delete the app data of the mobile app and try to log in again.

Reinstalling the app did the trick..
