I was trying to find out if there are rules in what characters can (and can’t) be used for Bitwarden’s Master Password. I didn’t see anything listed so hopefully someone can answer this.

Stick to the options the Password Generator inside Bitwarden offers and you will be on the safe side.

Furthermore: Do not use " (Quotation mark) as it will only work under some conditions:

The minimum length is 8 characters, max is 128. Everything in between is up to your imagination :slight_smile:

As a master password it is recommended to create a passphrase, see for example: How To Make A Master Password For Your Password Manager | Password Bits
