Hi. I’m having the same issue in all my browsers including the one I’m posting this on, Edge (139.0.3405.102) with version 2025.7.0 of the extension. I just re-installed the extension and it’s still the same. To be more specific, if re-prompt is on a card, I can hit the copy icon in the main Vault window but if I click into the element, then it re-prompts me as expected. For any passwords I have re-prompt enabled for, even clicking the copy icon outside the element does re-prompt, but not my card. I did disable and re-enable the option and that had no effect either. I also deleted the element and re-added it. I use a Mac at work and PC at home and it’s no different no matter what system I’m using or browser.
@DavetheDON Welcome to the forum!
From what you wrote, I think you are talking about the re-prompt not protecting everything, right?
The issue of this topic here is/was, that the master password re-prompt option was missing in the UI. It doesn’t sound like the option is missing for you…
Could you clarify if you meant the former or the latter?
Sorry - yeah. It’s there as an option but isn’t working when hitting the copy button outside the element on the Vault tab within the browser extensions. It just copies my card number right then and there but it re-prompts when I click into the element, so that part works. For logins, it re-prompts properly for all copy actions. Very strange that it just isn’t working on cards.
@DavetheDON Thanks for clarifying! As you can see, I moved your posts into a separate topic then. And as a general info, the master password re-prompt seems to not be implemented yet for every corner of everything – therefore, this feature request is still open: Require Re-Prompt for Entire Item (view, edit, etc.)
Do you mean this copy button (or the separate copy buttons there, if you activated those):
?
If you mean these: I just tested it on Vivaldi / extension 2025.7.0, and those copy buttons are protected by the re-prompt for me.
PS: Are you self-hosting? (I set the tag to “server:default-cloud”, so it would be good to know if that was correct or not – but it might also have to do with your issue)
I’m unable to reproduce this on Chrome, when clicking the quick-copy button for the card number:

I have tested it in an Edge browser, as well, and am unable to reproduce the problem. Perhaps you need to uninstall and reinstall your browser extension.
Folks, this appears to have resolved itself with the 2025.8.0/1 update. Thanks for the suggestions but I can confirm it’s all good now on all my systems and browsers.
I didn’t need to re-install the extension and I had already tried that even as recently as yesterday with the 2025.7.0 version of the extension with no luck.
