https://vault.bitwarden.com/#/login
(Edit: this is the US URL, I am not sure what the one would be for the UK but you should be able to find it via a search here).
Stay logged in on your iPhone, as it may be you have forgotten your master password.
That confuses me a bit. With “extension” is usually the browser extension meant… So you can successfully login to the browser extension, but not to the web vault? Or what are you trying to say?
I’m not sure if I can still follow. “Chrome extension on your iPhone”? - On mobile, the mobile apps should be used: Download the Bitwarden Password Manager App for iPhone, Android, Chrome, Safari, and More | Bitwarden (browser extensions are not supported on mobile devices/browsers) Ah, okay, you mean something like “login with device”? I think that needs a successfull login before it can work…
And you should be able to login there (and not be redirected to the web vault).
Anyway, if you still can’t login to the web vault (vault.bitwarden.com or vault.bitwarden.eu) - and the server problems from today are resolved (PS: but, it maybe is a good idea to delete the browser cache after that and at least restart the browser since then), then you most likely don’t use the right credentials.
Do you have an emergency sheet with your used email and master password on it? Would be the right time to search for it. Try to remember, if you really use the right master password. Did you change that some time ago and “forgot” about it? Could there be “typos”?
Could it possibly be another email? Or a “+” email?
BTW, from your first post here:
I guess you mean “log in”. - You can only unlock a locked vault… and a locked vault means, you are (still/already) logged in. Just for the terminology… and to avoid misunderstandings.
Ah, that is the desktop app. And that’s indeed good news, that your credentials are correct then! (BTW: If not done already, please use this opportunity, to create a Bitwarden emergency sheet with at least your email, master password, server region (US/EU) and the 2FA recovery code on it, stored in a safe location)
That’s partially good news, too!
It could be that there are now some remnants of local data, that might have (or cause) a “hiccup”. So I would recommend, to deinstall the browser extension once more. After that, delete all local storage of the browser extension, according to this help site: Storage | Bitwarden Help Center - and after that, reinstall the extension again.
Removed the extension, cleared the cache, added the extension, customised the settings (didn’t know you could do that - it is better than ever), and hey presto!
