Master password compromised?

Hey folks,

I foolishly entered my Bitwarden Master Password into my Aegis Master Password field.

Am I compromised? Should I change my Bitwarden master password?

Not necessarily. Depends upon what Aegis does with incorrect passwords. It is possible that they log them, but unlikely.

If it makes you more comfortable, there is no harm in changing your master password. Just make sure to pick something long, strong, and random. And don’t forget to take a backup first and update your emergency sheet afterwards.

I’ll probably change it, just to be safe.

That is what I would do. Too easy and mitigates the IF in case they do log stuff.

@OpSec I decided to change it.
