macOS app not syncing (but everything else does)

The iOS and iPadOS apps work fine, the web vault is accessible, the status page shows everything is running fine.

And yet the macOS app says “Syncing failed.” It’s the latest version Version 2023.12.1 (16254).

Any ideas?
Also, is there an error log somewhere that would give me a hint on what’s wrong?

EDIT: Logged out of the app and back in, now it works. I’ll leave the post open as I’d like to know if I can see somewhere what might be causing sync issues for the app. :slight_smile:

Happened to me too and I fixed it with your workaround. Is there a way to see log when the sync fails? It would help to diagnose the issue.

Having same problem right now with Sonoma 14.3 OS (And previous Sonoma version, which is why I updated.)

“Syncing failed.”

Works just fine on iOS.

I’ve restarted computer, deleted / reinstalled Bitwarden app, etc. Still same.

First time I’ve had issues with the app.

Trying logging out in the app and back in. Fixed it for me.

I had ass-umed that closing the app effectively logged me out, since I then had to log back in. Not so. Manually logging out / back in did the trick. Thanks again.
