I have pulled up a selfhosted server and while I usually use the English interface I checked the localized one in Hungarian, and it is… scary.
I thought that you have used some automated way to google translate it. I have found the project in crowdin and checked and…
I see that a “person”(?) “translated” almost 97% of the Hungarian texts. It seems that his method is not complex: get the machine translation, press enter, next.
I am not sure what is the best course of action here. Right now the texts are between ridiculous and incomprehensible. I am not sure how you organise translation “teams”, and how people react if someone starts to change all of “their” translations. I cannot onehandedly translate the web strings but there are some which is so bad that it’s incomprehensible, not even by guessing. And they seem to be “approved”, by this person. I am tempted to start actually translating at least some of those, risking bad feelings.
Maybe I just wanted to mention that these translations aren’t. Just for you to know.
