Yes, a redacted snapshot of what was calculated would be helpful to everybody, since it’s different from what was announced (regarding which plans were going to get discounted, the discount percentage, etc.).

Oh, I misunderstood you — so you are complaining about unexpectedly receiving a discount that was not publicized?

I can see an incorrect discount was applied and we’ve issued a refund for the difference to your PayPal. Refunds to PayPal can take up to 2 business days to appear in your account.

And so the error would have been that the discount was only 16.46%…:

And now BW support corrected it to 25%. (?!)

So, indeed, if BW support says (and “applies”) all Family plans get the 25% discount (for the next renewal), that would contradict the info that only some early Family 2019 plans will get the discount.

@Feinghost I know you wrote you subscribed to Family after 2019… but could you please check if on last year’s invoice, your plan was listed as “Families 2019”?

Exactly, I initially thought I hadn’t received a discount. Then I checked the invoice, and the discount there was very strange. I would have accepted it, though, considering that normally only family accounts from 2019 receive it. Therefore, I have the utmost respect for the support team for correcting it. It was quite confusing because there was conflicting information available.

As far as I understand, OP thought he wouldn’t get a discount. He contacted Bitwarden, who implied that he would get one. He thought he didn’t see the discount, so he posted. Subsequently, he checked his admin console, found the weird percentage discount, talked to support some more, and ended up with the discount as posted.

My family account is not listed as a family account for 2019.
