Not sure what your point is, as the “Additional item types” topic is completely unrelated to the “Add/Update Login” topic that is being discussed above.
If you’re implying that there has been “no reaction or response” from Bitwarden also in that thread, then you are wrong. To date, there have been at least 28 responses from 4 different Bitwarden employees in that topic. The feature in question was already to confirmed to be “a high priority item” for Bitwarden in 2020, was added to the official Roadmap in 2021, with development starting in 2022, and some initial progress made in a few months’ time; foundational restructuring of the database code to enable the feature was completed in 2023, at which point the project was moved back from development to a “research” phase (presumably due to technical issues encountered during development). In 2024, Bitwarden revised their public-facing Roadmap to show only items in active development, so the “Additional Item Types” feature was removed from the Roadmap at that time; Bitwarden also acknowledged that challenges encountered included technical difficulties with ensuring cross-platform and backwards compatibility, as well as shifting priorities in development (due to the high demand for overall UI redesign). In 2025, Bitwarden announced that they were no longer planning to introduce the feature that had been requested, but that they were open to consider developing Customizable Vault Templates as an alternative solution.
In my opinion, Bitwarden has been highly responsive to community wishes in that feature request (and many others); it is unfair (and inaccurate) to imply that they do not “consider” requests that are popular.
