Login not possible despite correct credentials

I have created a new user with the same login name as the old deleted user. I had to create a new account because I lost the recovery key and the 2FA was not configured correctly.
I created the account on my Windows work computer, but I can’t log in on my MacBook despite having the correct credentials. Everything works as expected on the Windows computer.

The credentials are identical for both login attempts, as I get them from a different password manager.

Error message
Username or password is incorrect.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello Christian, and welcome to the community!

I would reverify by logging through the web vault at vault.bitwarden.com (or the right URL thereof) on your MacBook, selecting the right server location: bitwarden.com, or bitwarden.eu. These aren’t interchangeable, but you can try both.

Super. Thank you very much. That was it. When I navigate to the login via the Bitwarden website with the URL https://bitwarden.com/de-de/ I am redirected to https://vault.bitwarden.eu/#/login and this then leads to the error. Which is basically not an error :slight_smile:
