Locked Out?

i changed my BW pass ages ago. i’m still locked out because it’s sending my recovery code to the old inbox. my verification app is inside BW. My recovery code is AWOL.

Help!

The important thing now would be: do you know your current master password? Or can look it up on your emergency sheet?

I guess that means you get verification codes sent to an email address you can’t access? (Bitwarden only has one recovery code, and that doesn’t get sent by email)

When you try to log in now – with your email address and master password (which you seem to still have then?!) – do you see this prompt (the important part is “We don’t recognize this device.”):

Or do you see a prompt like this (which does not have the expression “We don’t recognize this device.”):

PS:

If you’re still logged in somewhere to BW: disconnect that device from the internet immediately and try to export your vault (manually, if not possible otherwise).
