I am coming into bitwarden from Lastpass. I imported all my passwords.

If I want to log into my bank for example, I do a search for my bank in bitwarden and then click the first button to launch the site.

That works fine and the site opens up. But neither my user name or my password is there in the fields. Is there something I am supposed to do? I wanted to try bitwarden for a bit before I gave up on lastpass. Will I get this feature once I pay the yearly membership?

If you turn on Autofill, then the site will load and your credentials will be automatically entered. Without autofill switched on, once the site has loaded you can either click the BW icon to enter your credentials, or use the keyboard shortcut [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+L.

If you are using the desktop client,

  1. Select Bitwarden extension.
  2. Open settings
  3. Click on Options.
  4. Check Enable Auto-fill on Page Load.
