Labeling inconsistency: URI vs URL

Hello, In the desktop/Windows 64 bit version and in the iOS mobile app version, when adding a URL, there seems to be a labeling inconsistency in the app. Presently, the label to add a URL displays as URI (which in lower case would be uri) instead of URL. While insignificant to functionality, I’m merely informing you of the labeling inconsistency. Thank you.

@morganmusic … and what is your request now? How do you think it should be?

If it’s the same in both, then it’s consistent, not inconsistent.

FYI, the abbreviation “URI” means Uniform Resource Identifier, while “URL” means Uniform Resource Locator; a URL is a type of URI, but URI is a more general term.

 Yeah… but currently, the design in that area is not completely consistent:

Current Windows desktop app:

Current Android app, browser extension and web vault:

Though, I guess, the desktop app will get the updated design as well - and then the design also will be hopefully consistent

PS: Actually, the term URI seems to be finally consistent indeed… if I remember correctly, a few weeks/months ago, there was an inconsistency, as in some places the term URL was used I think…

PPS: Ah, the “inconsistency I remembered” was in connection with the old extension - and maybe only in some translations (as German in my case):
