Hi Bitwarden

I absolutely detest the animations in the browser extension.

The subtle, chronic, grinding slowness they introduce is saddening given they took time and effort to implement.

I was so happy to discover they can be turned off. The question to me is, why are they ever on?

Please also take a look at this “bitwarden UX” search on hackernews - a crowd that is generally quite supportive of the product:

I’ve been a paying user since 2021, and I really want to like your product, but you don’t make it easy.

I’m thankful for it though overall.

I have signed up for the beta.

To other users, please do try the following to see if you prefer it:
“Settings > Appearence > Show animations”

Just one thing for clarification:

That is confusing to the max to me :sweat_smile: as Bitwarden has

a desktop app

the web vault / web app

the browser extension

and so I have no idea, what you possibly could mean by desktop web extension. ?!?

Thank you - my apologies you are correct. I meant “desktop computer > browser extension” I will see if I can edit the post still.

Perhaps I should have gone full fusion: “web vault chrome android browser extension app” :thinking:
