When I try to change my KDF iteration from 100000 to 600000 I get an error: AuthenticationData and UnlockData must be provided.
I self-host on Synology 7.1

Please post a screenshot of your Admin Dashboard.
@peterpop Your web vault version is outdated and out of support. I would update this to match your server version first.
(or got to the latest 2026.3.0 for both)
I have kept my bw installation up to date. Only this latest update is giving me this issue: Bitwarden 2026.03.0 MSSQL Container Problem
So I have kept it at this version - which should be the latest before this breaking update.
Or is there a way to update only the web version to a later version?
Hm, good question… I’m not familiar with self-hosting myself, but from what I saw: yeah, the update script probably should update both the server and the web vault.
Did you do some “research” what might have kept your web vault from updating with the last few server updates?

But if I run the update to get that version I also get the version of mssql that is restarting all the time…
I had made a compose.override where I kept the web version low.
When I removed that I got the new one. I wonder why I did that.
I was then able to update the iterations.
