July 2023 java cert error

Out of no where I now cannot log into BW on my android. Everything is up-to-date & I tried all preliminary things like uninstalling app and reinstalling. Chrome, play store, android etc versions are all current. I can still log into BW via my Chrome extension on my PC. I have tried to reach out to support a few times today and was sent basic links for self-hosting. However, I am NOT self-hosting. It does seem that BW is now defaulting to self-hosting - could this be the issue? I cannot discover where to turn off self-hosting. I also was sent very technical information on downloading certificates that looked like coding. I never had to do this before?
Can someone please get with the executives at BW to resolve the android issue or give me a reasonable fix for an individual user that is not self-hosting?
Exception message: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found.

I am using a very current model of android phone that BW has been working just fine until a few days ago. Samsung S22 Ultra. Everything is to the current version.

What does this mean and can the BW techs fix it or tell me how to fix it? Thank you.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had trouble with getting support on this issue. If you want to message me privately and share either the email associated with your account or the ticket number you were provided I can follow up internally.

In the mean time, I would recommend logging out and verifying that your region is selected to the correct place. Just below your account/email address there should be a drop down where you can select from US, EU, or Self-hosted and I suspect this is what is incorrect. You are likely on the US region surveys as EU was only recently released.
