iPadOS and magic keyboard issues - only chrome

I have an iPad Pro with magic keyboard

Bitwarden autofills passwords using safari with and without the keyboard

When using Chrome (which is my preference) the autofill does not work when I have the keybaord attached. If I disconnect the keyboard it works perfectly.

Any ideas to work around this?
